Dennis joined the Navy Reserve in 1968 when he lived in South Euclid, OH. He reported for duty in San Diego as a member of the U.S.S. Nashville Pre-Com Detail in late 1969. He spent two years aboard the Nashville in "R" Division in the Shipfitter Shop. He left active duty in late 1971 and married Judy who remains his wife today. He finished his reserve time near his home in Ohio. Dennis and Judy live in Concord, Ohio and have two grown sons.
