Larry Walker was transferred to the U.S.S. Robert K. Huntington (DD-781) in January of 1972. He finished his four years of active duty in May of 1973 and returned to his home state of New Jersey. In June of that year he married his high school sweetheart. They raised two daughters (born 1976 and 1979). Larry has been self-employed since 1978. He moved to Oriental, North Carolina since 1998 where he lives today.
